His family a victim of of political persecution, and even a kidnapping attempt on himself, Miguel talks about how an immigrants’ resilience to move forward compels them to be contributing members of society. This leads to a multitude of positive impacts as demonstrated in various studies on the US and Canada, and provides context on how the current wave of immigration may have an impact on Europe.
